Sighișoara is a UNESCO citadel that people still live in — laundry on the lines, cats on the walls, the Clock Tower striking above it all. It is two and a half hours from Brașov, which makes it a full day rather than a half one, and much better for the extra time.

- About 120 km and two and a half hours each way on the Rupea road. We usually add a short stop at Rupea Fortress if the timing allows.
